August always feels like a season worth lingering in. The evenings start to cool, the sunsets seem to last a little longer, and the pace of life finally slows down. This is the drink I reach for when dinner has ended, the dishes can wait, and there's still enough daylight for one more conversation on the deck. It is the end of summer after all…

Ingredients
5 oz chilled Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio
2 oz sparkling water
1 oz peach nectar
Fresh peach slices
Fresh thyme
Ice
Directions
Fill a large wine glass with ice. Pour in the wine, peach nectar, and sparkling water. Stir gently, then garnish with fresh peach slices and a sprig of thyme.
